Our client, a leading sporting goods equipment and sports training aid supplier is looking for an experienced and talented VP of Sales.
We are seeking a high-energy, performance driven sales professional with a proven track record of successful sales / marketing plan
development and implementation within the Sports and Recreation retail marketplace. This position will be responsible for the direction of the company’s sales policies, objectives and
initiatives in addition to identifying, evaluating and developing new sales and product opportunities.
The ideal candidate will be a creative, persuasive and self-motivated team player with at least ten years of prior sales and management experience in Team Sports / Hard Goods / Mass
Merchant Accounts with broad technical and market knowledge in the sports products industry. Candidate must have strong analytical and strategic skills with ability to see, understand
and sort out issues that relate to revenue generation.
A 4-year college degree is required and professional sales and / or management training is a plus. Compensation includes a base salary,

programs, and deliver an outstanding golf experience.) You should be adept at
identifying customers’ needs then matching the right features of our solution
to help them achieve their goals. You understand sales processes and have
excellent presentation skills.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales you will
be responsible for execution of our marketing and sales strategies in your
territory. Your ability to “lead by example” will help us push our standards
even higher and meet or exceed our revenue goals in your territory. You relish
a situation where you control your own destiny in achieving job satisfaction
and income. You expect that excellent work habits and a well executed plan
produce an above average six figure income.

territories:

This sales professional should be a proven top performer who will be
responsible for selling golf course information management systems to various
clients in the territory. The sales executive will work with golf courses
within the market to provide cutting edge technology, applied solutions and new
revenue streams through revolutionary systems.
The ideal candidate will be a creative, persuasive and self-motivated team
player with prior experience in selling complex, multiple products within the
Golf / Capital Equipment / Technology marketplace with a loyal following in the
territory. This individual must possess expert knowledge and understanding of
territory management, marketing strategy, sales planning, evaluating and
reporting, with a love for the game and exposure to golf operations. Candidates
must have strong organization and presentation skills with the ability to
communicate at all levels.
A 4-year college degree is required and professional sales and/or management
training is a plus. Compensation includes a base salary, plus commission,
company benefits and a total compensation opportunity of $125K+.
